Theme this week: Nature

Photo by Amber Janssens on Pexels.com

Nature provides direction, wisdom, and elements for human survival. Long before colonies began establishing “civilization”; spiritual beings, Native Americans, lived in harmony with their surroundings. Sure there was unfortunate losses, inconveniences, and hardships.. but, nonetheless, no one complained. No one lacked respect for this mutual agreement.

Contrarily, nature doesn’t need humans for survival. They’ve managed on their own, in all types of weather conditions. It’s because of our species, that many families of animals are dying off, land is scarce, and our bodies of water are disgusting.

I hope in the near future, we all begin to give back to the place where life originated, sustainability worked, and the natural order of things was practiced.

💗Remember to stay safe, speak life, spread kindness!

10 Things You’re Reminded of While Walking a Cemetery

The things you are reminded of while walking a cemetery:

  1. Everyone dies
  2. Sometimes, the person doesn’t live to be 4… or 18.
  3. Everyone is someone to somebody.
  4. Even after death, people will visit you.
  5. Geese might crap on your plot (🤷🏼‍♀️)
  6. Many many families do understand the pain of losing a loved one.
  7. A brush past your arm, as if graced by a hand, is just a spirit ( happened 2 times to me today!).
  8. Veterans always deserve a thank you.
  9. Time stops for no one.
  10. Life is a true gift.

No this isn’t a cemetery; but, it is my step count record for the walk.

It’s Friday! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week!

This image reminded me of the adventure hike my girls and I took yesterday. We were searching for almost anything in nature. On Pinterest, I found several activities that involved items from nature.

At one point, I was highly discouraged. I thought we weren’t going to find pinecones. Later in our walk, I spotted a pine tree.

Up a hill! 😂😂

We all started our way up!!! One of my favorite memories ever!

Here’s some of our findings:

We found purple, yellow, white, flowers, pine cones, all size sticks, acorns, pinecones, tons of multicolored leaves! I absolutely LOVED this adventure with them.

I hope you’re making sweet memories with your loved ones!

Until next time:
