Blogmas Day 24๐ŸŽ„โ›ช๐ŸŽ„

For all reasons, in all seasons, and for no reason at all.. We seek Jesus, through prayer.

If you’re not religious, maybe you speak declarations over yourself.. To focus and manifest.

If neither of those apply, you may believe in the natural process of what’s meant to happen.

Each of these scenarios, we move forward.

For me, personally, Iโ€™m a firm believer in God but also in the universal coexistence of all living things. As I reflect on 2021, Iโ€™m going to focus on these prayers.

5 Christmas Prayers

May you be filled with the wonder of Mary, the obedience of Joseph, the joy of the angels, the eagerness of the shepherds, the determination of the magi, and the peace of the Christ child. Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit bless you now and forever.

In a world where worry, not peace, prevails, stir up that good news again. This Christmas, make it real in our hearts. Never have we needed Your joy and peace more than now. Thank You for the gift of Jesus, our Immanuel, the Word made flesh. Forgive us for forgettingโ€”that Your love never changes, never fades, and that You never abandon the purpose for which You came: to save us from our sinful condition, and to give us life eternal, the joy of relationship with a holy God. Your birthโ€”and Your deathโ€”sealed Your promise to us forever.

โ€” Rebecca Barlow Jordan

Almighty God, grant that the new birth of your Son in the flesh redeems us from the old slavery under the yoke of sin, so we may receive him with joy as our Redeemer, and that when when he comes to judge we may see Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen.

โ€” Wilehelm Loehe

Dear God, we give thanks for this time when we can all be together. We give thanks for this food which is bountiful and delicious. We give thanks for this joyful holiday when we can celebrate our Savior and his love for us. With joy we pray, Amen.

โ€” Beth McLendon

Thank you God for sending Your Son on one glorious night to be born a virgin, to live a perfect life and to die on the cross for my sins. Thank you that he rose from the dead three days later and that this Christmas and every Christmas we can celebrate the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Blogmas Day 12๐ŸŽ„โ›ช๐ŸŽ„

The old familiar jingle plays out every year! The 12 Days of Christmas is an unmistakably catching laugh for anyone trying to get through the entire 12 verses. Mess ups are had by all ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚.

So what’s the story behind it? Let’s dig into it. Each verse has an item that holds Christian value. Each one teaches us about Faith.

Faith is defined as the following:

noun
1. confidence or trust in a person or thing:
faith in another's ability.

2. belief that is not based on proof:
He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact.

3. belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion:
the firm faith of the Pilgrims.

4. belief in anything, as a code of ethics, standards of merit, etc.:
to be of the same faith with someone concerning honesty.

5. a system of religious belief:
the Christian faith; the Jewish faith.

5 Golden Rings ๐ŸŽถ

Today, I want to talk about the verse about the rings. Each ring represents one of the first 5 books of the Old Testament.

These first five books talk about Jesus becoming human. It teaches about our imperfect nature; and, HIS forgiveness and grace.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Until the next one,

Stay Safe, Speak Life, and Spread Kindness

Modern Day Jesus on Good Friday

I think Jesus would give a speech, more like the Holy Ghost would give a speech on Good Friday. I am certain Jesus didn’t want His followers, and disciples to grieve his loss of life. Though few believed His declaration of return, He told them. He also said to not be burdened by this world.

Kind of ironic for me; but, this modern day poem conveys the same beautiful message. This is hypothetically speaking, well maybe not. Spiritually speaking is better said. In all instances, the individual is not at the grave… But rather in every and all ways, that entails the Spirit world.

Happy Good Friday ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ•Š
