#20. Words you want to share with others

People love in different ways. You may have a man who brings you flowers every Monday but doesn’t give two hooty-hoots about Valentine’s Day. Just because he doesn’t give you a valentine doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you~ Β Jada Pinkett Smith

This past Thanksgiving, I was an emotional mess. Lots of memories passed through my mind and equally lots of frustration with the current “facts”. A friend of mine reminded me of this idea Mrs Smith states. Love is in tons of different ways. I shouldn’t have fixated on one holiday and this “boxed in idea” of what it is. As I grow, in love, with my boyfriend, I’m learning to be a better woman at the same time.

There’s so many different acts ovf love. There’s so many different ways to say I love you.

I challenge you to take the “5 Love Languages” test and discover a taste more about yourself. You may learn a bit more about others in your life, as well.

#11. A challenge you have overcome

I used to be super insecure and gullible. It’s taken time and great struggle… But, I’m now more wise and confident. I really have to give credit to the Self – Love process. When I began to love myself as I wanted another too, my life changed.
