I’m always fascinated by what I don’t know. Even more so, I’m amused that there’s always “more”. More to learn; more to research; more to try; more to test; more to discover. Our minds get fixated on what’s happened in our small spaces in existence; that we forget.. not much of it really matters on the bigger scale.

  • It’s ok to be sad for doing the right thing.
  • It’s ok to be sad for saying the hard things.
  • Truth can hurt.. But, you mustn’t allow fear to hinder you from speaking it (weather in word or in deed)!
  • Being first means you struggled most.
  • Being #1 means you’re in an odd place
  • But the truth being said or done isn’t for you, it’s for the best interest of the other person.
  • THAT’S the courage you posses.

“5 Things” Salted-Caramel Fill-In

As explained here, Salted Caramel announced there isn’t a 5 Things prompt for today.

Because I really LOVE this type of post, I thought I’d fill in:)

When you hear the word PEARL, what are 5 things that come to mind?

Here’s mine:

1. Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow

2. Grinding results in glory.

3. The true pearl color is really a combination of other colors.

4. Erin Gruwell from The Freedom Writer’s had a pearl necklace from her dad.

5. I’ve never desired to have pearls.. or pearl jewelry. In some cultures; however, they’re more dominantly used.

I’m doing it backwards!

How I had my page wasn’t working. It didn’t have the “me” vibe. The business aspect wasn’t me, either.

I also felt much less feedback and interaction with you guys (my audience!)
