Good Morning Guys

I found this image on Pinterest. Ironically, it’s speaking about an idea that I was just dealing with two days ago.

The way we understand this world develops through experience. A person, who’s lived through a tornado, perceives life a bit oppositely, than someone who’s lived contently on Wall Street.

Our expectations then, should be “open” enough to understand beyond our own experience. No two lives have walked the same exact path.

A firework could trigger PTSD for a Veteran. Rustling wind through neighborhood bushes , at night.. migh easily spook a Sexual Assult Victim.

We’re entitled to our thoughts, feelings, and opinions. We live our story. We hold our versions of every possible situation…

Nonetheless,

So does everyone else.

If we’re going to live amongst one another, we should be mindful to be objective in conversations which it’s necessary.

Stillness

No amount of regret will change your past.

Nothing done will ever change.

No amount of science will formulate the technology to time travel.

No time but right now, will be your opportunity to ensure a brighter future.

So stop being in yesterday.. Because it’s just an illusion within this world’s idea of time..

Don’t fall for this theory of “tomorrow”. It never comes.. Whatever exists.. Is right now.

Be right now. Live fully and intentionally right now.

Soak up all that’s good and positive. Breathe deeply. Stop your body and mind, to look around and see… Hear… take in this moment.

Motivate Monday

Hello hello!! Another Monday has greeted us:)

Today, I want to get you excited about your budgeting!

Years ago, I was the customer that held her breath, hoping every transaction went through. The thought of buckling down and seeing the numbers, made me lose sleep. On the contrary, the frequent experiences with “decline” was just as terrible. I wasn’t ready for that growth yet, though.

Today, I spent hours working out my plan. I looked at bills and totals, dates and payments. I typed it all up in my app; which allows me to revisit it anytime I need.

So how do you get excited about budgeting?

You SET A GOAL!!

Think about these past two years. The isolation and re-evaluations tortured our mental health. We couldn’t go anywhere.. we couldn’t visit anyone. There was nothing open, aside from jobs of essential workers.

We all stayed home.. and thought.. and thought..and thought.

Transitioning back into some version of normalcy, we’ve moved on.. but.. have we moved forward?

…..

Right now, decide on one task you want to accomplish. Is it a savings goal? Is it a vacation? Maybe a new car? Graduating with a Master’s degree?

Once you have identified your goal, make a plan:

Here’s a few questions to consider asking yourself.

  • What steps need taken in order for it to be achieved?
  • What does it involve?
  • How much money is involved?
  • What changes can I make now in order to be more efficient?
  • What do I need to do that might be challenging?

Take such steps as the following:

  • break your goal down into smaller tangible tasks.
  • Invest quality time into changing
  • Write everything down
  • Be intentional in the entire process
  • Give yourself patience & grace

The task always seems so hard until you get started! Take time and work out a plan. Break the process down into smaller tasks.

Motivate Monday

Good morning 🌅 Monday, we meet again!

This is who sees the first sunrise of any day. They’re 16 hours ahead of me.

It’s a new 24 hours.. Typically, I would say .. “ the start of a new week”. Though the idea has potential, I realize some of us won’t see the finished result.

Keeping mortality in mind, I hope we do our best to intentionally “BE”. Listening to everything & everyone around us. Savoring every bite of lunch, on break.. Noticeing the feel of freshly washed clothes or weightless bubbles touching our skin.. I want us to embrace every aspect of life, through the gifts we’ve been given.

I hope we choose to live in our present moment.. rather than, undertaking the task of deciding our fate. We need not squander time attempting to control uncertainty.

Right now is life’s best moment. We have the opportunity to cultivate a habit of productivity. Today, I encourage you to put forth your best effort toward your goals, health, and wellbeing.

I hope we remember slow and steady is a perfect pace.. that all things develope. The process provides adequate timing for each section to form and solidify, resulting in a solid foundation.

Right now, as you are.. breathe deep, then exhale all the toxicity from your heart, mind, and soul. Fill that space with hope.. with patience.. and grace.

A Week’s Goals

Do you write your goals down? Do you make weekly goals at all? Honestly, I didn’t put too much thought into doing it. I’m not sure why. I can list several benefits to having a set of goals ready for the week.

  • Check off boxes.. the joy of a simple checkmark ✔️ is ridiculous.. LOL 😂 but it’s true! Who else will admit they enjoy this amazing sense of satisfaction?
  • Results.. goals + action = results. This will allow you to reflect and alter parts of yourself. Consider this your study guide.
  • Self Confidence.. you’ll see yourself accomplishing task after task. You’ll kick ass with knocking down the walls and earning the wins. Additionally, you’ll feel proud as you see what you’ve accomplished. The follow week’s goals might even challenge you a bit more.
  • Productivity/Organization.. Breaking down something into smaller parts makes the objective more realistic. Written goals will be the stepping stones to what needs done.

So you’re ready to begin.. Now what? I recommend listing what needs done according to time. If time isn’t an issue, consider your energy levels (which days are usually your most productive) (What time do you feel most awake and ready to go), meal planning, and other obligations. Work this list into the other aspects of your life. Unfortunately, it won’t be neat, tidy, and stress free.. but, the organization will save you time and keep you focused.

I’m going to create a list for myself. I hope this encourages you to do so. Remember, what you should expect of yourself is only what’s humanly possible. That’s the level of “Your Best!” and that’s enough.
