In my Mental Health Journey, I can say I have gotten better with identifying my needs. In order to do that, I’ve had to take time and consider what should be on that list.
That’s step one.
Sadly, many of us have no experience in this area because we’ve never practiced it. Myself, personally, didn’t even know this was a thing.
The next obstacle is the belief that what our needs don’t matter.. or that our unmet needs shouldn’t be identified and fulfilled. None of this is actually true.
Here, I found something to get you started. This list is AMAZING.. and has even brought insight to me, regarding love in my life.
I hope this encourages you to grab a small journal and write your thoughts down. Physically, release that energy onto paper. Refer on this source; and, reflect on patterns and growth.
Your healing is an intentional choice.
