The Talk

Some days need a dose of positive self talk after all it’s chaos. My week had been exceptionally long. My kids were extra ornery. I haven’t been able to nap as regularly.

My Calandra’s dad, thankfully, agreed to keep both kids with him until Sunday afternoon. Here I am, super exhausted and ready to head home..

And.. automatic start the car.. Kept my passanger side door opened. Long story short.. I forgot to unlock the whole car before closing the opened door. EVERY EXTRA KEY, MY I’VE CREAM, AND PHONE WERE IN A RUNNING VEHICLE.

Ironically, shortly before the girls and I went to dad’s house, we ran into a Boutique. It’s more a hippie/indie type aura place. While there, I was drawn to the crystals. I had no idea which I wanted; but, it found me.

It’s an opalite

I posted a hyperlink in the caption above. It symbolizes fresh start, clarity, and tranquility. The blue hues represent sky as in optimism and perspective. It also represents water signs (I’m a Cancer!)

That said, I felt a bit more prepared to handle my vehicle situation. I felt like I could have fixed the lock by myself.. But, I had used the time, while waiting on insurance company help, wisely.

Anyway, the simple tools you should {and I never tell anybody things that they should do; but, this is the one exception.} have on hand in a lock out.

Find them on Amazon!! Here, here, or here!!

So this evening, here’s some truths that will help us relax and unwind, as we accept what is..

Have a good night loves!!

  1. Glad you got through the car lockout fiasco and shared lessons learned! I did that once too, many years ago when I had young ones! I was sooo unnerved!! My neighbors had all left for work, except one who thankfully, knew how to disconnect my battery to shut the car off! 🤦😭😳
