37th Day of 365 Thanks Giving

Today, I’m giving thanks for small victories!

Sure, big accomplishments feel great; however, small victories are “the winning along the way!”

Just recently, Hilary and I were talking about saving money. I didn’t think I’d be participating in the save money challenge this month. I came out of Save-A-Lot with a pop and water beverage that I didn’t need.

For a minute, I felt defeated! {Nothing that little should crush your belief that you can do something!}.

This evening, I wanted Sonic! On Christmas Eve, I had it for the first time. Oh my goodness, the coney dog was amazing! Anyway, tonight, I wanted that with the ice cream thingy. I got the order ready and whatever.

So I’m ready to check out; and, I see the bill!

$17+ for the meal [my daughter’s order as well].

$3.99 for delivery [😳😱]!

$3.00 for service fee [say what????]

This opened my eyes to truth about take out. I would have paid more in “fees” than I would have on one meal!!

Nope! I walked my pretty but to the kitchen and prepared a meal.

Delightful pork tenderloin, garlic and butter mashed potatoes, and kidney beans!

Small victories are to be celebrated! By doing so, you’re treating yourself to some praise and confidence boosting.

Tell me, what success have you had since the beginning of 2021?

With Love and Light
