10th Day of 365 Thanks Giving

Today, I’m giving thanks to the people who’ve given me second chances. Here’s why!

Recently, I was hurt by a “friend”. Though at the time I didn’t realize it, I had misunderstood the situation as it happened.

When I confronted ( that always sounds like a defense doesn’t it 🤦🏼‍♀️!) this individual, I politely but directly addressed my feelings.

Was I wrong in my scenario, sure was!

Could I fix the mess? I sure couldn’t!

The lack of maturity of the individual resulted in a heated reaction.

I blocked him because I wasn’t going to engage in that conversation.

He proceeded to create another account just to ” message me back” with all his hypocrisy.

Second chances are extensions of grace and mercy. They’re extensions of love and forgiveness.

When hurt happens, we tend to hurt others.

Some people respond with grace…providing the opportunity for the individual to make it right.

Not everyone is strong enough to provide that gift. Not everyone is willing.

I’m thankful for those who have given such to me.

With Love and Light

  1. Second chances really are hard to come by, I appreciate all the people that have given them to me (in some cases even 4th chances)
Today I’m feeling most grateful for teachers. Bearers of knowledge passing it on to minds that know so little about the world in which they have been brought.
So whatever we’re currently learning; Playing piano, cooking, riding a bike or a foreign language, I think we should all take some time to be grateful for the resources made available to us by knowledgeable people in the fields.

    1. Here here!!! Teachers make all other professions possible! ❤️❤️❤️ I want to add, if you don’t mind, the “parents as teachers” that’ve birthed from this Covid! Teaching isn’t for everyone;but, suddenly it had to be! It’s been a hard adjustment.
